A cold day, a great sport, and a lot of laughs!

Well, my first senior shoot of 2008 went off with a bang! We were finally able to shoot after rescheduling twice due to weather. Kate was a wonderful model and had such a great sense of humor! Working with her was a cool way to kick off the new year!
As most of you know, we've had a lot of rain lately, so walking around the vineyard property was an adventure in itself. At one point, I was leaving 2 inch deep watery impressions in some grass and then had Kate sit down on part of it to get a certain pose. She gingerly sat down on my reflector cover and smiled her best while we were all trying not to laugh. That combined with the freezing cold temps made it interesting. We tried to smile and shoot between shivers. LOL
Thanks, Kate, for a memorable day and for following directions so well. :-) I really enjoyed the few hours we spent traipsing around the property. Thanks to Rose for being my able assistant as usual and freeing me to get some great angles!
Here's a sneak peek for you! We have some BEAUTIFUL portraits here and a lot more to show you later!
